One of the beams has a ladder going up. Get on the beam above and you can freely snipe her with a bow and she doesn't move or anything. Hence the item you get from her is called "downpour".

I'm not seeing any toggle aim option on the PS5 version only free shooting and while holding the left trigger you go into first person mode, and it's been a mayor deal breaker for me, as well as the lack of vantages points, being an sniper game... I recently finished 4 and absolutely loved it but I was really let down by the changes, they seem do out of place in a game like this, even the controller setup changed like why? Also in the 4th the soldier placement seem strategic in 5 they just seem to appear randomly snd swarming you at any given time. I just didn't enjoyed the game wich is a shame cause I really tried to like it.

Hey I'm sorry if this is such a nooby question. but how do you prevent a "knockback?" like, when i'm going to attack it but my character is getting like a "knockback" animation after i attacked it? how to counter it? am i missing something?

Tysm, needed this. I dont usually search for bosses but that force grab was something that got to me fr. I tried dodging forward and he would legit just turn to his side… realized their is no running from this guy, you fr have to stick to him and dodge every attack or he’ll hit you during a heal and probably kill u well dodging if your too far.

This worked great for me, if you basically just sit next to him the whole time, he ended up just spamming his shield slam and his normal 3 sword combo for me. Everytime he slams his shield you can get 1-2 R1-RB attacks in all the way to the point where you can crit him over and over again.

What i did was when I got to the top section and she is on the right side, just wait there don't stick to the wall cuz her arrow damages through the wall but then she just walks up to you and you can surprise her 😁

Imo, the only decent way to deal with this miniboss is to range-attack her when you're at the top floor. Save your time and nerves - don't chase her there to melee atttack her. Bow, crossbow, sorcery (glintstone pebble, blade, whatever) - anything will do. You don't need to fight the spawning rapier men at all when you're after her: right from the start run towards her spawning point atop of the stairs and melee attack her. Have no worries, your only problem will be if she casts the magic downpour too close to you while you're beating crap out of her. She will only rely on her magic attacks, so when she's charging her bow - don't wait for her to finish the cast - your attacks will interrupt the casting. When you're at the top level - stop chasing her and switch to bow/crossbow. If you have your staff and sorcery simply wait behind the corner until she fires her arrow and then peek and cast your sorceries.

Its occured to me, is the ringblade a weapon you can get in game? You get the spear, as well as the staff (also downpour and crystal burst as well as that spam spell) but idk if theres a ringblade or chakram weapon in this game?

This is what I had to do. Hit him enough to stagger him during the phase 2 animation and then critical hit and then keep the pressure on until he’s dead. Beat him at lvl 62 with the greatsword +12. Just looking around to see what others did to beat him.

I felt like playing this game was quite disappointing it was much like the original and I'll take the blocky characters and lowered graphics over this any day as it had way better storytelling and just felt deeper and more emotional which is saying a lot if you can get better emotions from speach bubbles
